Lonely You + Lonley Me = Lonely Together

One would hope that if you are together, then you would no longer be lonely. Being lonely together seems like an undesirable outcome of two people occupying the same space at the same time.

I know there must be others out there like me; maybe you are too shy, too short, to naive, to caring; maybe you’ve been too hurt in the past. Me? I’m all of those things too. Boo hoo hoo.  “…maybe you are too shy, too short, to naive, to caring; maybe you’ve been too hurt in the past. Me? I’m all of those things too.” That was his clever way of letting you know he is freakishly short. He is hoping to distract you by placing this information in the middle of a display of emotional sensitivity. Because women like men who are in touch with their emotions, right? Right…
